Makorori Beach and it’s lush green cliffs give way to an uninterrupted view to the East. The light above the horizon is Mars rising at close proximity to the Earth. There is a faint crescent moon in the sky behind - adding a slither of light to the scene. Captured in July 2019, this was the first image of its kind to be captured in Tairawhiti Gisborne (as far as I’m aware). A 360 degree Milky Way arch astro panorama. It was also the first time I successfully managed to execute such an image.
